| How to find us The Ledges Inn is located
just off Main St. (Hwy Route 8) in Doaktown, New
Brunswick. The closest airport is in the capital
city of Fredericton approximately a 1 ½ hour
drive from the Inn.
Coming from Fredericton:
Follow the signs
for Miramichi, Highway 8 North. Once in Doaktown
(approximately 1 ¼ hour from the city) the speed
limit will drop from 90 km/hr to 70 km/hr. When
the speed limit drops from 70 km/hr to 50 km/hr
the Ledges Inn driveway and a green and gold
"Ledges Inn" sign will be on your left
hand side (you cannot see the Inn at this point).
Follow the driveway to the Inn.

| Coming
from Miramichi: Follow the signs in
Miramichi for Fredericton, Highway 8. Once in
Doaktown (approximately 1 hour from the city) you
will cross the bridge over the Miramichi River
and travel through the centre of town. The speed
limit in the village is 50 km/hr. On the West
side of the village, past the centre, the speed
limit changes to 70 km/hr. At this speed limit
sign, the driveway to the Ledges Inn is on your
right as is the green and gold "Ledges
Inn" sign (you cannot see the Inn at this
point). Follow the driveway to the Inn.

New Brunswick, a
Canadian province nearly the size of Maine, is located
between Maine and Nova Scotia. Doaktown, very near the centre of
New Brunswick, has a population of 1,100 many of whom are
employed in forestry or outdoor recreation businesses
(tourism). More and more people are selecting Doaktown as
a retirement place.
