Ledges Inn is the lifetime project of Everett and Caroline Taylor.
It started in 1996 when Everett and Caroline decided to build a first class fishing and hunting lodge on the Miramichi River. Coming from a family of outfitters (our children are the 7th generation on this land) it was a natural move for them. Because they needed to compete with existing outfitting businesses, they decided to cater to the fishers and hunters who wanted to experience great fishing and/or upland bird hunting but also wanted to stay in a less rustic environment than most lodges have to offer in New Brunswick.
In 1996, the Ledges Inn was designed and built. Made with New Brunswick white cedar, the Inn is both warm and comfortable. In addition to fishing and upland bird hunting, the Ledges offer a meeting room for small corporate retreats, 10 well appointed rooms overlooking the River and a Great room to relax and socialize.
Salmon anglers who stay at the Ledges have access to some of the best salmon pools on the Miramichi River.
In 2006, Mountain Channel was added to the roster of salmon pools available to guests of the Ledges and in 2007, Harris Ledges was also added. The Ledges offers a variety of packages from fishing and upland bird hunting to romantic get aways, corporate retreats and snowmobile specials.
